Calling all developers!

Metis is pleased to sponsor Encode’s L2 Hack, a four week hackathon starting on October 17 to recognize the best developers, professional contributors in the community and to introduce them to the Metis ecosystem. Through our bounties, developers are encouraged to build on Metis and optimize various programs like Metis Grants and the Metis Builder Mining Program.

Pick your track! Metis is hosting two challenges and awarding two $1500 bounties (one award for each track). Check them out below!

🏆 METIS L2 BOUNTY TRACK

Metis is a Layer 2 solution that utilizes Ethereum Layer 1 security tech for its own blockchain.

To serve our mission of bringing blockchain to the people, developers can introduce a solution that addresses a challenge in the real world. We encourage developers to build innovative solutions to encourage collaboration or a tool to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3.

AWARD: $1500

  • Legal age of the majority
  • Open Source Code
  • Developer should be on our Metis Telegram and Discord

🏆 DAC TOOLING BOUNTY TRACK

The DAC Portal, incubated by Metis DAO Foundation, is looking for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or DAO tools to develop the infrastructure for the Decentralized Autonomous Company (DAC) and improve organization operations and functionalities. Read more about DACs. Pro tip: think about what’s needed for any company to function and apply it to Web3!

AWARD: $1500

Developers will also be considered for contract or even salaried work with the DAC team!

To participate:

  • Envision optimal tools or infrastructure for a decentralized company
  • Identify an existing company and DAO issue or efficiency
  • Use the Safe Apps SDK to build DAO tools solving the identified issue
  • Optional: incorporate other Gnosis Safe tools. Example: Zodiac

  • Live and usable product on Gnosis Safe compatible testnet (Metis preferred)
  • Legal age of majority
  • Video demo of a live application
  • Open Source code: e.g. MIT, BSD, GNU
  • Join the DAC Network Discord & introduce your project team

  • Vision and use case
  • How applicable and clear is your vision? Does your project effectively target your specific market and included use cases?
  • Functionality or efficiency improvement of a DAO
  • Measurable and provable results of the project
  • Review of the Open Source code
  • Usability of the DApp
  • Project’s practicality, use cases, ease of use
