Metis is excited to announce our first Naming Contest! propose a name and stand a chance to win $1000 USD in $METIS tokens.
Starting with our next product release, we will enable our community to transact with real $METIS including staking and mining. As a result, it no longer makes sense to refer to that release as a Public Testnet launch.
So, rather than referring to our upcoming product launches as “Public Testnet” and “Mainnet”, we are asking our community to submit their best ideas for naming conventions. The winning submission should be:
— creative
— related in some way to some way to Metis, our origins, and our company mission
The contest starts today at 2 pm UTC and ends on Friday October 15th at 4 PM UTC. The winner will be announced Monday October 18 at 4 pm UTC.
